Jeremiah Barcus, cellist, is a senior at Downingtown East High School in Exton, Pennsylvania. He studies under Gloria dePasquale of the Philadelphia Orchestra and avidly participates in the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra. In school, Jeremiah is an Honors and AP student, placing high amongst his class. He annually participates in his high school’s musicals as well as the Messiaen quartet, made in Downingtown. He has placed in such competitions as the Tri-County Competition, and the Kennett Symphony Orchestra competition. Jeremiah will be studying at the New England Conservatory under the tutelage of Yeesun Kim for the next four years.
